I've been listed 50 times but i really dont get what the point of it is. I mean people r asking me to list them and I do but I kind of find it pointless. Is there really another point like u know otehr than your profile saying u've been listed a whole bunch of times?

When people browse your profile, they can see the lists you've generated and therefore the people on them. If you list people, that's an extra way that you're linking their name out there and most likely will get them more followers in the long run.
Listing is also useful if you then point people to a list of people to follow, or check out, for example sports fans may check out a list of fellow sports fans, etc.What is the point of being listed on twitter?
other than just the pride of being listed and seeing your username, people can use it to find people with similar interests like Beliebtards or Jemians
